Groups
Help Line
A new addition here at Mt. Carmel is the Help Line, a group that serves our members who need some help, whether it is with small repairs, trips to the store or doctors appointments, or just for a ride to worship on Sundays.
Prayer Chain
Our church wide prayer chain is a phone and email based prayer chain that is available for 24-hour prayer needs. A prayer request is spread to the members of the prayer chain, who each pray for the need and those affected. There is nothing more powerful than prayer, and our prayer chain instantly combines 100+ individual prayers for each request. Our prayer chain receives many requests for community members, family, and friends whom we do not know, but we pray for just the same as we would our own families.

Navigators
Mount Carmel has taught Navigators for more than 10 years. Navigators builds a strong foundation for Christian life through enriching Bible study, Scripture memory, and group interaction. With it's biblical and practical approach to discipleship, this 32 week course yields long term, life changing results which has developed strong Christian leadership at Mount Carmel Church.
Beth Moore Bible Studies
Mt. Carmel Church has been offering a "Beth Moore Bible Study" since 2001. These studies are open to all women, regardless of denomination. Each study involves ten sessions which include group discussions and a video by Beth Moore. Our sessions usually begin in October. We meet every other week for two hours and usually conclude in late February or March. Each session requires five days of homework. Our ladies and their friends and neighbors have been extremely blessed as we grow together in His love and Grace.
The Fall 2009 classes will meet from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on 10/7, 10/21, 11/4, 11/18, and 12/2.
Kids For Jesus
The "Kids for Jesus" is a youth praise team. They meet on Sunday mornings from 10:30a.m. until 10:50 a.m. It is comprised of "Kids" who love to sing praises to our Lord and King. It is voluntary. "The Kids" sing for the congregation at various times during the year, especially at Christmas and Easter.
